Meet other Traders!
"We started on the vintage road in 2009 after meeting Sarah (one of the former owners of Deben Events) at a street fair. We were introduced to Deben Events and haven't looked back since.
"The atmosphere at these markets is different to the antique and collectors fairs as everyone seems to take part, whether running a stall or coming dressed up to buy or just be seen."Where clothing tends to be hot property for many of the stall holders, we prefer small furniture, garden and kitchenalia. We like old items that have been restored for a different use; sometimes painted, other times left plain."However, anything quirky will get our attention, such as a full-size taxidermy swan that sat on our stall for a while. Jill didn't like it indoors so it nested on the downstairs loo until it decided to migrate...!"
Lynn and Jill have regularly stalled out at our markets since the start.
